Description:

DYAMOXCLAV-625 is a broad spectrum antibacterial consists of an antibiotic Amoxicillin and β-lactamase inhibitor, Clavulanate potassium.

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic with bactericidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Clavulanate potassium is a β-lactam, structurally related to penicillin, which possesses the ability to inactivate a wide range of β-lactamase enzymes found in microorganisms resistant to penicillin and cephalosporin.

Indications:

• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Genitourinary tract infections
• ENT infections
• Respiratory tract infections.

Contraindications:

Allergic reactions to penicillin.

Side-effects:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Urticaria
• Skin rashes

Dosage and Directions for use:

 Adult dose: One DYAMOXCLAV-625 in every 12 hours and can be taken preferably after meals.

Precautions:

Periodic checking of organ system functions, including renal, hepatic, and hematopoietic function is advisable during prolonged therapy.
